Responsible for ensuring productivity in our Automated Clinical Laboratory operations and will architect, develop, and support configuration and customization of a commercially available LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) that facilitates the efficient processing of work and information in our clinical laboratories. Job duties include the following: design, configure, and maintain and support LIMS Software; interact with internal customers to develop business requirements; develop IQ, OQ, PQ documentation and execute testing; conform to coding conventions and all aspects of the SDLC; conform to all change control and product release policies; participate in the continuous process improvement of Lab IT solutions; key contributor to defining and executing the Lab IT roadmap for Laboratory Operations; provide technical help for level 2 support team in troubleshooting LIMS application related issues.
Must have Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or closely related field and 3 years of experience in LIMS configuration or management in GMP environment. Experience must include trouble shooting and resolving issues with Lab Automation specifically, robotic liquid handlers; developing formal technical specifications; working with Lab IT systems architecture and integration; working with relational databases and SQL. Will accept BS and 5 years of experience.
