Assistant Professor of Technology

The Department of Technological Studies is positioned in the College of Arts & Sciences and has three ATMAE accredited programs. The department has five full time faculty serving approximately 100 majors in Construction Management, Manufacturing Technology, and Technology Education. Participate as a faculty member in the Department of Technological Studies and teach the following courses: Fundamental of Electronics, and Applied Controls 1 and 2 (PLCs/Robotics/Automation), and possibly Embedded Systems. Would also assist with robotics capstone projects.
Position requires high level of technical expertise, with teaching and/or industrial experience involving robotics, automation, and Programmable Logic Controllers.
PhD in engineering technologies, manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, technology education, or related field. ABD Considered.
Industrial experience in manufacturing technology or engineering field.
