The Image Library at Hartford Hospital is an important part of the care that we provide to our patients. In addition to helping customers that come to the Image Library, we assist nurses, technologists and providers in making sure that our customers have the best experience possible. We are responsible for ensuring that the images in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) are up-to-date and always available. Whether we are managing images for a transfer patient or assisting outpatients in getting their imaging study, we are happy to do so because we are here for the patient. Provides front line end-user support for the Radiology Sectra PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System). Assist with end user training, hardware, application and interface troubleshooting, and resolving user questions / problems in order to facilitate the automation of department processes across the organization. Responsible for performing duties associated with Radiology Records Management Unit, release of information and customer support in tandem with PACS support duties. Under guidance of PACS Administrator, analyses user needs and revises existing system logic difficulties. This position reports to PACS Administrator/Radiology Records Management Unit Leader and/or Radiology Imaging Department Director.
At least 3 years advanced PC skills and Client Server applications- or - Assoc.Degree and at least 1 year experience with advanced PC skills and Client Server applications.
