And we do it all with every action focused on our shared values of Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation, and Performance.Technician must have good working knowledge and experience in the repair and maintenance of an automated manufacturing or distribution equipment to include: mechanical systems (motors gears, belts, coupling, etc.), pneumatic systems (air compressors, air dryers, actuators, flow controllers), PLCs, automation and electronic controls, and basic understanding of electrical system.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of all semi-automated, automated, and conveyor systems throughout the day.Responsible for preventive maintenance of equipment in order to maintain equipment uptime and operational readiness.Analyze root cause of electro-mechanical issues using PLC tools, logs, and troubleshooting skills in order to identify malfunctioning equipment and reducing order exceptions.Troubleshoot and perform electrical and mechanical repairs to equipment in a timely and efficient manner in order to restore operational equipment readiness.Properly remove all used repair parts from inventory using the work order and inventory functions within the Computerized Maintenance Management Software to ensure proper inventory levels are maintainedMaintain maintenance shop and other responsible areas through proper housekeeping and post-maintenance clean-up procedures.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED or higher 4+ years experience/education in the repair and maintenance of an automated manufacturing or distribution line to include an understanding of mechanical equipment (motors, gears, belts, couplings), robotics, pneumatics systems (air compressors, actuators), PLCs, automation and electronic controls.Basic understanding of electrical systemsAbility to work nights and weekends as neededPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in industrial maintenance fieldTraining (vocational tech) in mechanical or electronic systemsKnowledge of the Reliable Performance Model of maintenance practices.OptumRx is an empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change.
