Research Programmer, National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC)-2002269
Research Programmer will design, develop, and test robotic perception, planning and control algorithms. This specific position will apply these algorithms to the development of an autonomous control system for the guidance and control robotics manipulator. Perception algorithms will be developed using computer vision techniques to process sensor data into a world model and use computer graphics to render the world model and sensor data for display purposes. Planning and control algorithms will be developed to operate the robotic manipulator safely and efficiently.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science required; Master's degree preferred
1-3 years of relevant Systems programming and research computing experience
Excellent organization, planning and oral/written communication skills required
