As a Portfolio Manager, Robotic Process Automation, you will become a key member of the Advanced Research and Analytics team at UnitedHealthcare. This function will work with UHC business units to identify and deliver results on high-impact projects leveraging Robotic Process Automation and other advanced technologies. Your objective is to apply program management skills and innovative thought leadership to pave the UHC roadmap for process automation. In this position, you will be advocating the power of Robotic Process Automation concepts and working with cross-functional teams to create significant transformations across UHC's core business lines. We are looking for someone who is passionate about transforming healthcare operations, using new and emerging technologies, and solving difficult business problems. It is critical to have exceptional project management skills, communication skills and the ability to make complex concepts simple and easy to understand. Primary Responsibilities:Successfully execute the development goals and business objectives of assigned automation portfolio Lead and develop program and project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g., program/project charter, Statement of Work documents, Business Vision Documents) Work with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project execution Collect, analyze and maintain resource forecast information (e.g., labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies for assigned automation development portfolio Responsible for the coordination and completion of automation projects across various functional areas specifically within UHC Benefit Operations
Required Qualifications:5+ years of project management experience 5+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint Experience leading technical capability or application development projects Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects Demonstrated ability to calculate, track, and forecast financial objectivesPreferred Qualifications:BA/BS degree and/or equivalent education and work experience Working towards or have achieved certification in project management or have accredited Six Sigma training Experience working within the healthcare sectorCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
