Administrative Coordinator, National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC)-2006397
Responsible for providing administrative support for specific programs at the National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC). The person in this position will be responsible for coordinating a broad range of complex administrative activities including event and travel planning, preparing purchase orders for equipment purchasing for the professional staff, arranging luncheons and department events, reconciling purchasing cards for staff members, preparing journal entries, and processing bi-weekly and monthly payroll. Additionally, the person serves as the first point of contact for NREC visitors. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Familiarity with the University Oracle system is required. Competency required using Microsoft Word and Excel. Requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of the practices, policies and procedures of the NREC and the University.
At least 3 years of administrative support experience
Higher Education experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, reasoning, organization, and planning skills
